Macbook Sandisk

I have a Mac question, which can help?
I recently bought a MacBook Pro, and is one of the most sophisticated machinery and fresher than I have my hands. PC punks do not dare to bash me, have already been convinced. I've made. Therefore, I have a 2 gig SD card I've been using to transfer files my old PC to my Mac has worked well until yesterday. It says it only has about 500 MB available even with the deleted files. I found a solution in the forums Sandisk and said, "You are running on a FAT file limit. Card format in FAT32. Go to My Computer, right click the drive that corresponds to your card choose the format, and the new window that opens FAT32 elected under the election system. Once you do that, you will have no problem. "Does anyone how to do this through the Mac? Please and thanks.
Search Open Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility click the drive on the left and select the format / delete the partition tab in the SD card drive and format the file system to choose MS-DOS
