Are more GHz. for the Macbook Pro worth the money?
I am looking into a new Macbook pro for video editing, and am thinking about getting a 2.53GHz, but I want to know if getting the 2.66 GHz for $250 more or the 2.8 for $500 more are really worth the money. I want the one that will give me the best and fastest performance.
The most important thing for video editing is to have the most RAM.
The cpu speed will not give you a noticeable increase in performance.
This is how I would rate video editing speed:
1. RAM
2. Disc drive - get a 7200rpm
3. CPU
