Does your new MacBook comes with no guarantee when buying online?

I was stupid and did not even look at this when I bought my new MacBook 13-inch line. I wanted to customize (like to upgrade to more RAM and such) so I bought online through the mac store. Am curious to know what kind of protection i currently if something were to happen ...?

If all Macs come with a warranty of 1 year. And even time expires to be allowed to buy "Apple Extended Care", because if you want. That will extend the warranty another 2 years (three years total). Again, you can buy it after the fact, if your brand a year before the expiry of the original warranty.
