Mac book? or Macbook pro?

I am going to university for civil engineering and i am having troubles deciding wether to get the regular, or the pro! I have heard there have been some problems with the pro by constantly dropping its wifi. But, is it worth the risk and the money getting the pro?

Without getting into a mac vs. pc thing here, i would recommend taking a look at some ibm or sony pc's (laptops) for engineering. There are alot of great cad programs that seem to work a little better on a pc structure. and yes, macs dont get viruses (untrue) but if you use a little common sense and dont use nortan for viruses (use avg) you should have a problem. Also, with windows 7 you wont have to worry about crashing, ive thrown some pretty nasty stuff at 7 and it never crashed once. If you must insist on a mac no matter what, dont get the pro. Though mac are already too expensive as it is, the only different between the two are cosmetics and a few odds and ends that dont reason for the extra money. If you do get a pc, go with something that will last like an IBM or a good sony for hp.
